TASKING C compiler suite for the RH850
architecture from Renesas Electronics, deliv-
ering support for new RH850 microcontrol-

ing to new ARM-based processors.

ARM launches mbed IoT Starter
Kit - Ethernet Edition
ARM launched the ARMmbed IoT Starter Kit -
Ethernet Edition to channel data from Inter-
net-connected devices directly into IBM’s
Bluemix cloud platform.

tion resources from IBM will allow fast pro-
totyping of new smart products and unique

oped using the kit are expected to enter the
market in 2015.

drivers supports high-performance le oper-
ations, fail-safe operations, and secure erase.
Devices with JEDEC eMMC 4.4, 5.0, and later
interfaces (JESD84-B50) are supported. All
le systems are supplied with an advanced test
suite to verify correct operation.

Vector Software announced that Vector-
CAST is now integrated with Wind River
Simics. Using the integration, developers
can rapidly test complex designs, in paral-
lel on hundreds of simulated target boards,
which dramatically reduces cycle times for
complete testing.
