SPS/IPC/Drives bigger than ever

The prospects for the forthcoming SPS/IPC/Drives (27 – 29 November 2012 in Nuremberg/Germany)  are excellent. This year’s exhibition will be larger and more comprehensive than ever. More than 1,450 exhibitors will showcase their electric automation innovations, products and solutions in twelve halls. Over 400 exhibitors from abroad are participating at this year’s show. This is more than ever. The countries currently most strongly represented after Germany are once again Italy with 76 participating companies, followed by China (48) and Switzerland (35).

The trade fair offers a platform for producers and users at senior level to discuss technical issues and exchange ideas and information. Following on from last year’s record visitor figure of 56,321, more than 50,000 trade visitors are also expected in 2012.

With 48 presentations, two keynote speeches, three tutorials and a trend session on “Sustainable Automation”, the conference which will take place in parallel with the exhibition will provide its usual comprehensive overview of the industry.  The joint stands “AMA Center for sensors, measuring and testing Technologies”, “Open Source meets Industry” and “wireless in automation” will enable visitors to find out more about these topics in detail and to start identifying targeted solutions for their automation problems.
