iSYSTEM: efficiently migrate from
single- to multi-core embedded systems
iSYSTEM and Timing-Architects Embedded
Systems are announcing the availability of a
tool chain that enables continuous and auto-
mated software development of multi-core
embedded systems. The cooperation of the
two companies provides the answer to the
question of how to efficiently and without risk
migrate from single- to multi-core embedded
systems.
Adeneo: Windows Embedded Compact
support for TI’s Sitara AM437x processors
Adeneo Embedded announced the ongoing
development of Windows Embedded Com-
pact 7 BSP solution for the Sitara AM437x
processor platform from Texas Instruments.
Adeneo will be the first to provide a Windows
Embedded Compact 7 solution on AM437x
processors. The WEC7 BSP will support the
latest AM437x EVM development kit from TI.
Rohde & Schwarz: HAMEG products
now integral part of portfolio
T&M products from Rohde & Schwarz sub-
sidiary HAMEG Instruments will now be
marketed under the Rohde & Schwarz logo
– starting in June with two new instruments.
The company HAMEG Instruments will con-
tinue to operate as an independent company
under the umbrella of the Rohde & Schwarz
group of companies. The two sites in Main-
hausen and Chemnitz will be expanded.

of new extensions for Altium Designer for
advanced stackup planning and power dis-
tribution network analysis to bring compre-
hensive high-speed design capabilities to the
mainstream market, at an affordable price.
Lauterbach and Evidence collaborate
on OSEK/VDX tool chain
Lauterbach and Evidence announce a partner-
ship, where Lauterbach‘s TRACE32 debugger
supports seamlessly Evidence‘ ERIKA Enter-
prise, the first open source, royalty free, OSEK/
VDX certified RTOS. ERIKA Enterprise and
its companion RT-Druid is a complete open
source, royalty free development environment
for OSEK/VDX compliant systems. Based on
Eclipse, it works with OSEK-OIL files and sev-
eral compilers on several architectures, with
GCC being “built in”. When building the ECU
application, RT-Druid also generates several
support files for the debugger.
IS2T: MicroEJ 3.0 application platform for
resource-constrained microprocessors
IS2T announced the latest version of the
MicroEJ SDK to prototype, design, develop,
and test applications before deployment to
smart embedded devices. With MicroEJ 3.0,
IS2T now engages into the promising Inter-
net of Things market by offering a standard
solution for managing multiple connected
applications. MicroEJ can turn a simple
hardware platform into a rich services plat-
form, enabling suppliers to deploy several
independent or cooperative applications
onto the same embedded device and add
extended after-sales features to meet cus-
tomer demand.
Verocel: advanced life-cycle and veri-
fication management environment
Verocel announces the first full commercial
release of VeroTrace, an advanced life-cycle
management environment that has been used
to successfully develop, verify and certify mul-
tiple software systems. The new commercial
version features an enhanced architecture, an
Eclipse IDE and a wealth of capabilities so that
software developers can now automate the
many tasks and processes required for their
own large-scale, advanced software develop-
ment and verification efforts.
