A lot has been accomplished in the last year to
improve comprehension, accuracy and scalability of artificial
intelligence, but 2019 will see efforts focused on eliminating bias and
making decision making more transparent.
This White Paper explores how by using SDR,
engineers can build radios that can react more readily to interference,
employ more sophisticated channel-coding schemes to increase data
rates, and take advantage of other advanced RF technologies.
Strict emission regulations worldwide heavily affect the car industry. To meet these regulations, electrification will play a major role. In this webinar you will learnw hy there is no way back from electrifying the powertrain, which components to select for which application and that IGBTs can also be used in fast switching applications.

The Silicon Labs differential clock
generators provide any rate, any output frequency synthesis enabling a
single device to replace multiple crystal oscillators and
fixed-frequency clock generators. Any combination of 4 output
frequencies can be generated with exactly 0 ppm error.

2019 will be the
year of big trends — 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous
vehicles (and
other autonomous devices), virtual reality, and the internet of things
(IoT) —
that have a significant impact on the electronic components industry.
Each sector
will advance across application spaces thanks to the critical role that
electronic components play in enabling these technologies.

The advanced power management of
high-performance embedded computer systems prioritizes peak performance
over deterministic behavior. What can designers do if determinism is an
important factor for their embedded systems?
Without question, 2018 was the year RISC-V
genuinely began to build momentum among chip architects hungry for
open-source instruction sets. That was then. By 2019, RISC-V won't be
the only game in ...
This Keysight Technologies
webinar on optical compliance measurements covers next-generation
transmitter specifications, TDECQ measurement theory, &
validating results.

There is a glut of different single
board computers on the market, with more being added to the list
yearly. They are the foundation of many recent electronics projects,
providing rich feature sets that let us build everything from robots to
automated homes, and everything in between. While each version is
outfitted with some impressive hardware...

DRAM will once again finish the
year with the highest growth rate of any semiconductor product, though
2019 is shaping up to be a very different story, according to market
research firm IC Insights. DRAM is expected to finish 2018 with 39%
growth, following up its 77% growth in 2017, IC Insights said. DRAM has
once again benefited from a steady surge of rising average selling
prices over the past two years amid a shortage in the market.
Infineon says it has shipped volume quantities of
the first industrial-grade wafer level chip scale package (WLCSP)
embedded SIM.
Until now, the company said there were only consumer-grade eSIM
products being shipped in a WLCSP-package. Infineon says it has managed
to get its SLM 97 security controller qualified to industrial
qualification requirements as defined per Jedec, including extended
temperature range (-40 to 105°C) ...
In this webinar you will learn about Vishay’s
latest developments in Silicon and Package Technology and how your
application can benefit in terms of efficiency and PCB area usage.
Focus will be on 60V – 100V MOSFETs.

As the IoT continues to expand, we see
a large
interest in the use of
distributed sensor nodes in the industrial space. How do you
bring new technology to an already extant install base?

Imagination Technologies has appointed former
Rambus CEO Ron Black as chief executive officer, replacing Leo Li.
Imagination said that Li will step down at the end of this month to
purse his own SoC startup.
Technology progression often has non-intuitive
moments, when cascading benefits (or damage) from disruptive
development impact areas not directly thought of. From social media to
wide-bandgap semiconductors, advanced technology has been impacting
people in various and unpredictable ways.
